In CITIC CENSA, since its beginning, we have developed our work under the supervision of our Quality Control team, following the statements of the successive Quality Assurance Manuals. Our QA people are qualified for several levels (I, II and III) and several non-destructive testing techniques (RT, UT, MT, PT etc.) as per SNT-TC-1A.
For destructive testing, as well as chemical and metallographic analysis, etc..., we use the services of an independent laboratory named AIMEN (Association Research Metallurgical Northwest), which depends of the Vigo Industrial Engineering School. CITIC CENSA is an associated member of AIMEN since its foundation in 1967.
In 1979 CITIC CENSA applied for and obtained a certificate of authorization to use the "U" stamp of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and this Certificate is still held today.
